Hi all, I’m looking for some help please. I got my first Xmaxx a few weeks ago and absolutely love it BUT, the inevitable has happened, stripped the pinion and spur gears🤦🏻‍♂️. I got some new ones from GPM and upgraded to the Mod 1.5. It seems like everyone on YouTube has so I thought I’d give them a go. Here’s where I need advice. The gears are a 12t pinion and a 35t spur. I’ve looked around and found that the Mod 1 comparisons a 19t pinion and 54t spur. Now call me thick as mince but I can’t work out what holes the pins below the motor go in. I’m gonna have to learn how to read the chart (eventually😁)

looking at the manual i did not see a 19/54 setting. you may have to remove pins and manually adjust mesh.

You are correct on the Mod1 to Mod1.5 equivelents. Both have the same OD. I would buy a better motor mount for the X-Maxx, regardless if the stock one has the correct pin mounts or not though. The whole design Traxxas has for the spur and motor mount is garbage. It's like it was designed to eat gears.
