I have an adam drake edition xxx-nt and i was going to order a engine i would like to get a .12tr but i dont know what kind of shaft i need the pilot shaft or the short shaft could some one please tell me which shaft to buy and if the tr will even work in the xxx-nt.

Should be in the book - not sure if its the same as the Drake so I dont want to misinform you.
You can't go wrong with the longs and just cut them down exactly where you need them. But, if you can get an exact fit then do it.
