Hey so my sons base camp can tow around 20 lbs before I start to worry about something breaking.
I'm thinking I need to start upgrading it so it doesn't snap
Where should I start?
Suspension? I need it to be mucho stiffer
Weight down low in front? The front lifts up costing me turning ability as well as pulling power hell I'm thi king about.just throwing a chunk of iron under the hood to push the front down for now
Rear axle? I guess switching to billet axles? Soooo expensive!!
Rear diffs? Drive shafts?
What kind of transmission? I want motor to tow at normal walking.pace not go fast so geared lower? I have no experience with most of this stuff
I've been watching a LOT of videos on how to build a tow rig but their all pulling sleds so are concerned with wheel speed where as I'm more concerned with torque
Or would I be better off getting something else to toe larger amounts of weight?
I known I've mentioned this in multiple threads but this post os more a direct question on the Basecamp and drivetrain/suspension/durability question with a back uo towing question
