ok, read about this. thought wtf, id give it a try today and see how it does tomorrow.

I did 2 things to my otherwise stock ax 10 today. I took the tranny apart, and assembled it with the spur coming out the opposite side it shows to build it on.
then put it back together and mounted it spur to the rear. I'm attempting to reduce torque twist.

also, i took the rear 3 link off and installed a 4link instead.

then lastly i re layed out the electronics, and added a maxamps 2s lipo saddle pack. but i did something other than mounted them on a link plate or on the axle. i ll get pics tomorrow when I'm trying the setup out.

gave it a quick little run across my wood floor, where it would typically yank the wheel up and twist. i can see the tt has been reduced quite alot. i think i may be able to get away with some new shock oils and maybe a spring and be good, after some new condoms ofcourse. the lizzards just dont cut it.

will post up a few pics afterwards.
good crawling peeps.

yeah definatly get rid of those damn lizards lol they suck...if what you have done doesn't get rid of the tt then you need to consider a dual triangulated skid like the one EEM has because it helps if not completly takes away the tt.

heres a few pics of the setup currently

i also later ran a set of weighted claws. that to helped but i m going to concentrate on getting it going with as much of a stock setup as i can.

Slow, got a pic or 20 of the dual triangulated setup? you know the old saying, a pic is worth 3 hrs of phone time, and 3 weeks of pm/forum time. lol

hes talking about the second one. the first is only a single triangulation skidplate.

exactly....^^^^

Here is what one looks like installed. Notice the lower links form a triangle that is reverse of the uppers hence the name.

I am running 3-link uppers still and with EEM's skid, I have virtually no torque twist.

ok, so the double tri is only refeering to this setup being on both front and rear long links. I have wanted to bring the links inside the chassis anyways.
thanx for the pics. helps me visualize thing.

yeah it makes a world of a difference timmahh, and that skid is cheap (cost wise) and has all the hardware with it as well.
the rock course looks good too, and what frame is that on your wall?

ah, thats on my buddys wall. the corse is in his garage. not sure but its for bike for his 5yr old. can't remember what he said it was.

well i spent some time tonight making some double trianglation mods to the ax 10 kit.

heres what it looks like now. will see how it works in a couple days.
