Picked up a Mini a wk. and a half ago and can't seem to put the thing down now lol Great Fun! so far the upgrades that i have done are CVD Set - Ball Bearings - TL Oil Filled Shocks - Dynamite Alum Heatsink Mtr. Plate - Peak Racing Raider Mod. motor and for fun i put my Wheels from my TC3 on after some lil modifications lol doesn't seem to be any loss in performance other then the steering slowing down a lil.. i like that way it looks and the added ground clearence i get :)

Can you expalin how you modded to get those wheels to fit or are you trying to keep us in the dark?

Those wheels are nearly as big as the car! looks good tho!

Its easy to put the wheels on just put the hexes from a tourer. It is a little wobbely but with washers and careful placement it works . I did it, very fast but my motor got hot quick.

Yeh, i would expect that! as soon as it gets going it would be alright i suppose!

it gets going pretty fast and wheelies even easier with the bigger tires and i havent really noticed any major loss of power off the start due to the bigger wheels

It would be nice if you could please explain how you did it.

sry man figured nitromadman explained it :) thats more or less what i did, a lil shimming in the rear and some washers and it rides fine. took no time @ all to do, i did it for the look and just for the fun of it but it turned out ok in the end. for the front i reversed the hex in the rim and put it on axle then i put an old plastic bushing on and then the nut, cranked the nut down do the point that the bushing got squished a bit , then i backed off the nut enough getting the wheel to spin freely on the axle.
hope that helps a bit

What size washers? How did you get the 1/10 hexes to stay on as the pins off the 1/10 are to big to fit in the holes. I don't know why it is so hard to explain, I explain all my mods. Telling someone to just use 1/10 hex hubs and some washers is vauge. Your post is nice looking but to be honest makes it hard for anyone that would want to recreate it.

sweet man. i kinda wish i had a Mini-T but o well i already got 5 HPI Micro RS4's. i would think u would burn ur motor up after while.

later

Ez made my own pins from some metal rod i had laying around, find some that will fit and cut it to size. whats up with the attitude? i dont check up on this thread often and have been busy and your telling me how i should post and to your deadline? patience pls pm if its urgent :) Thx no hard feelings
