Hey guys,
Thanks for any future answers this is my first post so here we go...

I bought a never ran mgt online I am new really new to RCs and need some help from you.

Its missing a piece on the motor I think I found this kit its a back-plate setup am I overlooking anything that you can tell from the picture.

The guy I bought it from says its never been ran (it appears it never has looks amazing...) He said he use to race these and used the part on his other truck what do you guys think.

Any advice on the break in would be great... 1st time I dont want to screw it up!

Again thanks!

Congrats on the new ride, look in the Nitro Talk section and read the stickies (tons of great info). It may be the computer I'm on but all I can see is the thumbnail on the bottom of your post. If you could post some larger pics as well as a few different angles of the truck we could probably give you better opinions on the truck, you may have to use photobucket or a similar site to get the larger pictures up but I'm not sure being as I've only used photobucket and never attached photos.

Hey sorry it took so long for me to reply I get the parts tomorrow and will try to upload a new picture. Were the back-plate should be Its open and i have a gold "gasket" I ordered a starter kit from a website that came with "all the parts that wear out on the starter including the back-plate.

I have a "gun" to start the motor with and I am missing the "bit" that attaches to it is it something that I have to buy from a hobby shop or what kinda looks like an Allen wrench????

Anyone who is familiar with uploading pictures let me know so I can show you guys with out screwing this thing up!

I am so excited to drive this truck and am happy I have found such a fun hobby thanks for the help guys... (anyone who owns an mgt 8.0 I would like to know how you like it)

I have the 8.0 and it's a beast. My slipper was very loose so at first it would not shift or have any speed. I tightened the slipper and now it's just insane. At the time I was looking into a tuned pipe, the factory pipe was not availabe so i went with the associated header like you have to and then I put the Savage XL tuned pipe on it. Great combo and it's really fast.

Ya so far I love this thing when I had it warmed up last time I had a hard time keeping the front wheels down but I dont mind I love it then I striped out the inside of my rim and am waiting for my new wheels then I should be back to the action I love this truck so much It still looks new I am afraid to get it dirty its so nice.
