I’m looking for a silver case for the rear shock absorber of my mbx4

I tried searching that part number but I can’t find anything it’s it because this parts are hard to find

Found them internationally as a complete kit. CO559 Is the kit part number.

Damm 130 bucks is their any other option parts I can use. My Players Poked a small hole in my case forgot to put a towel on case I’m not sure it looks like is leaking. Either way they are very soft

Measure the length of the shocks and search for ones in that range is all I can tell ya. I have no experience with that kit. Maybe @cbaker65 can help ya. Not sure, but he has had lots of different kits like that.

Thanks for the props ,but I don't stomach those prices quite well either an will totally refuse to buy parts that
are that high ,I would rather find a used part or a chop shop even if it is off of another brand!..

My buggy has a big bore in the front and one in the rear it’s that how they come
I was about to buy it too but I don’t want to pay 130 but this next gen look like they could work

That tells me that some else may have broken a shock before ,an used what they had!

I noticed on some didn't have thread , my guess ,they used some kind of boot or just a o-ring seal
inside the shock?
I would think that you can use any shock as long as they are the same length as the originals ,so you
might want to consider on buying a new set at a descent price ,better in the long run!

There is a ton of old Gen mugen parts on E-Bay right now ,so my guess ,some one has a mother load!..

It used boots but I’m still doing lots of research this cars are 25+ years old. I don’t really need lots of parts just the shocks look weird to me not sure they are stock. Here’s pictures I still need to clean it up then I can make alignment adjustments
The front side also has a little more slack on the springs on the right side

Yea ,Mugen is a top well known contender an is an expensive racing platform ,what parts I seen ,old & new ,are expensive ,an
In fact ,someone on ebay has your mbx4 brand new never built kit for a $ 1000 bucks!..

I think that I would just find a new set of shocks ,or find a rebuild kit for yours ,o rings do rot an go bad ,I'm also seeing
Conflicting shock #'s on that manual ,but I am also seeing a lot of those mbx4 parts on ebay ,but some are pricey!
Mugen tends to use the same MBX letters on everything ,it can be confusing on what model they are referring too ,check
Out this shock housing kit ,they just say MBX ,but there is a part # ,but does not match yours!..

I seen that. That kit is for a newer model ( mbx5) I guess I’ll get that set and maybe the front set just to have a fresh set. I have a couple oz of 70 weigh fluid I might use
