I did get a Losi Mini B about 2-3 months ago. I got the RTR Brushed version. I took it apart to rebuild it but I almost got it back together. Really didn't have the time but since I'm on summer break I'm going to start finishing putting it back together. My local hobby shop just recently bought back mini race classes for the mini b/mini t. Once I get it back together I'm planning to go brushless and get a transponder. Maybe a clear body and make my own design. And tires since the ones on it stock are more dirt tires than carpet tires. My LHS bought back the class about a month ago but they did 2-4 race nights and they stopped so hopefully they bring it back for the 3rd time. Here is some pics:

It is actually a good inside rc car. since it is brushed and only has a top speed of like 12 or 13 mph I made a little track in my basement to play with it. I only ran it outside once since i didnt want to wear the tires down since it has the pin style dirt tires on.

That thing is pretty cool

I love it!!!

I keep wanting one, but don't have anywhere good to run it.
Any local tracks. around the house, maybe outside on the sidewalk. I know it won't do good in the grass because too small and ground clearance. The mini t might be a little better in grass than the mini b.

I would have to find a parking lot to play, I live on a busy street, one mishap and smoosh! I had a great parking lot to play in but they just tore it up and ripped out all the trees. Not sure how long it's going to be torn up.

Well just spent my whole wallet today at the shop. Got new carpet tires. They are pro line prizims in the rear and wedges in the front. Mounted on white wheels. Also got the dynamite 2in one brushless motor and ESC. I ordered a new receiver to get it running and a extra battery. The battery I got is the dynamite 2s 800 mah with ec2 connector.

Just got the receiver and battery in today. Controller binded up with the receiver when I turned it on. No problems so far. Might need do adjust some of the settings in the esc but other than that It is ready for some racing.

BTW: In the start of the video I had it pinned on the controller. The battery was at half charged so not all the power it can do.

A small zip tie around the servo saver spring will tighten up the steering a bit, you run the risk of burning up the servo quicker though. I run the solid horns and pound on mine and the servos last surprisingly long.. 🤙

Planning on getting the aluminum servo horn and aluminum shocks. Also might get a clear body and wing to make my own design and also so I can see it on the track. At my LHS track near the wall ride which is all the way in the back I really can't see the car so if I do get a clear one I'm going to either use Orange or bright blue because those are the colors I have right now. And thats all the upgrades I want to do with it for right now.
@Hammer Down Do you ever have problems where either the camber link or steering link pops off the ball stud? I had it happen to me 4 times before. Also happens in the rear. If the rear link pops out the drive shaft comes out.

Since my LHS is closing down, I am not planing to have this as a track/race basher. Right now I guess its more of a speed run or street basher.
