if its just handleing then just go to a nice open parking lot

but its to actually race on a track all i can think is to take cones to tha open parking lot

just about what is out there tuning, parts , cars , stuff about the hobby. Converse with other R/C peeps

Welcome to RCNT. You certainly found the right place for info. There's nothing like hands on learning with other guys at the track, but it's also a bad time of year for most tracks now.
Even if there isn't a local track that you know of, showing up and running your car in a parking lot will attract others, some with the same interest. Everyone that has one, runs it somewhere. It's just a matter of getting a few together in the same place.

i know the lagoon park one its electric only. And they are all pricks. FOP the fraternal order of police. blah blah blah no dont do that no you can't run nitro here.
