Anyone know of a light system you can buy to put on your truck or car.... and if not would you buy one if one was available.

May want to try www.rc-lights.com.

Personally, I think they are more of a "bling" item than anything else. A friend of mine slapped a set on his T-Maxx and they did look cool...up close and not moving. He tried running it a couple times a night thinking he would be able to "see" better, but ended up t-boning his rig into a parked car (ironically, the parked car was under a street light).

The one time I recall wanting to run at night bad enough to warrant something I just took an old Bic pen and removed the ink tube, taped it to the front bumber of my Savage and stuck a sparkler in there. I just wanted to be able to tell front from back. It proved to not be as fun as I envisioned.

alright thanks for the input. i didn't think lights that small would do much for the truck but i was going to see if anyone has tried them out.... thanks man

If you are goingto bash that lid, I would recommend against it as they will just get damaged. If you are running on pavement and not bashing it or jumping, then try em out. A member here, sweetdiesel has them on his project brushless truggy.

I've got a pair of flat keychain type LEDs on my truggy body. I servo taped them onto the hood. They don't really illuminate the ground. They are only used to help me see the truck at night since my night vision stinks.

i taped one of those cheepo one aa cell flashlights you get free with a 12 pack of batterys to the roll bar of the savage, and aimed it out the front. same as others, didnt iluminate the ground but helped me keep track of the truck in the dark.

that's what i did last night when i ran mine. yea it doesn't work too hot for seeing what around but for just seein where my truck was it was fine

The frame web design prevents me from direct-linking, but go to modification articles and light up your ride. I did it and it worked ok for a while but the LED's had a problem with burning out after so long.
