Hi, I'm hoping one of you might have suggestions regarding the purchase of a new drone, actually 2 new drones (one for me, one for my son). Looking to spend no more than 200$ each, they don't necessarily need to have cameras but proprietary batteries and parts are a deal breaker. I'd like drones that i can slap any 3s lipo inside, find parts for, and possibly upgrade that wouldn't lock me into buying from a specific company.
Thank you!

I've had a lot of good luck with Horizon Hobbies E-Flite quads. I still own several from a NanoQX up to a 270-sized one. HJorizon is having a sale on them right now so you might look there. Most of their quads use standard connectors for batteries.
