Couple of the guys here have sailboats.
I legit am looking into this. Hopefully can get some input from them. We’ve got a decent sized pond at one of the local parks that may offer a good practice space
unless you keep it close to shore, but you show St. Louis area, barge traffic is a killer

I spent some time in Mississippi when I was younger. I used to drive across the levee and picnic right on the bank of the Mississippi river. That is one powerful big ass river.
