Just Got A Free RC18

So Awhile back i posted about how i possibly could get my hands on an associated RC18 from my cousin for free.

It was converted to a brushless system which is nice.

It had one issue that was where the trigger was revered and the throttles reverse switch that is supposed to fix that issue wasn't working.... The only 2 other things i personally thought of was either someone when they did the brushless conversion wired it backwards or the radio was bad.. So i took my 27MHZ team losi radio and plugged the crystal right in it and problem solved.. the associated radio seems to have a faulty throttle reverse switch.

It also came with a satisfying amount of upgrades and extra parts.

I personally have never owned a brushless car so to me this thing is very fast and not even running lipo just a 1400 NIMH 6 cell pack.

Anyways I'm happy and its an early christmass gift. Its amazing how almost every one i know has just given up RC even my cousin and today he just said here..

one of the wheels missing but i wanna rock the yellow ones.. they have some awesome tires

Very happy with it, just going to get a body... maybe get new gears all around just because.. and clean it up abit and get lipo packs.

Congrats. rc18 on 3s is NUTS!!!! Prolly the fastest rc I've ever had.

Honestly i almost dont wanna get a lipo pack on it... Just the NIMH packs are fast enough for me.. i dont think theres much point really to make it any faster...

But i love it so far... i love all the parts it comes with !!! i changed the shocks out... it wasn't taken care of because there was no oil in the shocks,no antenna tube, and underneith there are wires just laying against the drive shaft... luckly the wires arent ruined..

I think now i wanna get some new suspension. and then a body forsure...
