Just ordered a Hyper 7 PCR today!!!! I got two day shipping so it should be here friday!!!! WOOHOOOO!!!!!! i ordered a new servo for the steering ( HS525 HIGH SPEED METAL GEARS AND BEARINGS SERVO) is that a good servo, the guy at the shop said that it is what most people are ordering with it, and it was pretty cheap. :2cents: i also ordered some new silicon oil for the shocks i bought some 30weight and 20 weight.
i think i am going to take monday off to have some fun with it :)
i am going to go to my LHS and pick up some street rubber (can anyone recamend any?).

other than locktighting everything and running some oil thru the engine before trying to start it is there anything anyone can recamend to do?
oh i am also going to pick up one of those throttle savors (not sure of the correct term)

anyway I'm counting the minutes till Friday:redbuggy:
glad to be joining the ranks

Glad to here you made a decsion on your buggy. Just make sure you break it in correctly according to manufacturer specs. Now go and enjoy.

i can't go and enjoy till FRIDAY!!!!!!!

is it Friday yet? :cheeky:

Cograts on the purchase. Is it the RTR? If so then you are correct on checking and locktiting the screws down. I would also look in to getting a failsafe and installing a Throttle return spring on the carb. The term you are looking for is " servo saver ". If youare going to go and bash it around then I would look to getting a Motorsaver for your carb. It caomes with a pre filter on it. Oh yeah don't forget to get some nitro clean to clean off the gunk on the head when its cooled down so you can apply after run oil to the piston and sleeve. Lets get some pics!!. I got the PCR Pro kit so I have yet to paint my body yet.

Congrats bro!

ya i am a serious :n00bie: so i got the RTR and have been searching the boards for tips on setup. that is why i bought the oil for the shocks and the new servo. i am going to hit my LHS up tomorrow for the fuel, servo saver, throttle return spring and motorsaver (thanks Jon2).

i soooo can't wait till FRIDAY. it is going to be a very long day at the office Friday, i am going to be watching the fed ex tracking all day
hehe i might even dip out early to go and start the prep work on it. i think my GF is already getting angry at all the attention i have diverted from her to my buggy

i forgot to ask you all about the break bias. i didnt see anything that says the PCR can do it stock so i am assuming that i have to buy something to set that up? i saw a few posts about a JR XS-3, what exactly is that?

thanks for all the help you all have given, if it wasn't for this forum and its peps i would have bought a pice of crap and run it over with my Suby :hammer:
