Get the pro kit with the Picco .12. Trust me you will think its the greatest thing you ever owned. I have 2 nitro's (picco) and am converting a third to brushless.
WHEN, (cause you need to) get the CRT grab 15 tooth ofna clutchbell. It comes with a 14, and goes well, with a 16 its downright crazy, (a genuine 60mph, yes genuine) so I guess a 15 will make it JUST RIGHT! To quote a childrens story.
If budget permits get the extended chassis too, this allows for full size servos.

thanks for the info I was actually thinking of putinf an o.s 18 in it more power more better LOL. the new ones come with the extended chasis which is nice .
thanks

No need for an .18, the Picoo .12 is stupid fast already. I watched and pitted for a CRT.5 race. Awesome, I was thoroughly impressed. They took a beating and were quick as hell. Made me want to buy one.

Like I said, use the Picco, spend $20 on a clutchbell, and if you want silly, reckless speed go for a 16tooth.
If you're not happy then, by all means go an .18.
Let me tell you though the Picco will stop you breathing while you try to hang on to it.....

Thanks for the input I hope to be ordering it this week. I'll keep you guys updated
