is this a fair price for this stuff?

a friend of mine is getting out of RC trucks and is trying to sell me his entire collection of stuff
JR XS3 with 2 recievers, padded carrying case
2 NIMH 1100 MAH battery packs, plus charger
motor to start teh MBX
Monster GT, 5945 digital servo, aftermarket head, integy piggyback shocks, aluminum belcranks, fantom pipe, one gallon ran thru the motor, odonnel 30%

Mugen MBX4 XR works, 5945 digi servo, and a 925 for the throttle. RBs7 motor with 1/2 gal ran thru it, one good body, and 2 bodies that are in OK shape, and some extra tires. Motor has 1/2 gallon of odonnel 30%

All of this stuff is in immaculate condition. Do you think I otta jump on this stuff, or let this one go by??

If you know the friend well and know how he takes care of his stuff, it looks like a pretty good buy. I'd have to guess he has around $2500 wrapped up in all that stuff.

I am leaning twards picking this stuff up, seems like a fairly decent price. The monster GT damn near looks brand new aside from scratches on the underbody, and the Mugen looks well maintained.

Any more "helpfull" good buy bad buy input??

I think Eddy knows that you are not the seller, but he actuallys is trying to tell you if you didnt want it, that he would give your buddy 800. Easy there little fella.

I'm a tad cranky today, and less likely to see the humor in things. The new truck I bought today had the waterpump die BADLY on the way home (it shook the truck like it was in a paint mixer, drove it 30 mi. that way -- later diagnosis revealed that the water pump went bad, but also the flexplate was broken)

Looking at it now, I think it would be safe to assume that I would be getting my nose thumped for posting a for sale add in the wrong area, be called a noob, and get banned all in one breath

heh, if anything I will be the one lowballing the guy for $800 :d.

Yeah sh!t happens man, just dont take it out on the tools. Tools are your friends, lol. Sorry for the waterpump, and if its a new truck take the thing back to have it replaced or does it have a warranty. Have a 12 pack and a hootie, everything will be just fine.:smoke: :burp:
