I'm finally getting the my rac truck tommorow I'm getting the p10. i know i have to break it in and use after run oil and drain the tanks but what else do i have to do.

Congrats on your new truck.
If your going to run the truck every few days or so, you don't have to empty the tank.
It can last in the tank for a couple of weeks.
Don't forget to keep a good charge on your glow ignighter.
You might want to have a couple of spare glow plugs on hand.
Good luck

What's the "P10?" You may also want to buy a c-cell powered glow ignitor fr back up as well. It'll also let you start break-in right away since a rechargeable ignitor needs at least 12 hrs of charge before the first use.

BEFORE the first drop of fuel is in, make sure all the screws on the bottom of the chassis are tight; check the backplate of the engine to make sure they are tight and loctited; CA your tires to the rim; Recheck the HSN and LSN to make sure they are at the specs for break-in. I'm sure that the others will fill in the blanks if I forgot something.

i tihnk he got a ofna pirate 10 which kicks ass. it has a hyper 21 and is light as hell this baby rocks...i always wanted one but no one stocks parts here for it good luck with it

If you got a pirate 10 be prepared to have a fast-strong arm, the compression on that sucker is VERY tight! If you pull it too slow, you'll break the pullstart, so you have to pull it pretty fast. You might have to stand on the car w/ one foot too. That's what my lhs had to do on a ofna hyper 7 rtr which has the same engine.

just remember its not a lawn mower. dont pull it more than about.....10"
