After 3 days of temps in the 20's and strong winds, today was a welcomed change: 40°F and light winds. I took advantage of the warm up and sunshine, and hung outside, after work.
I set up the cornhole boards and got some much needed practice. After awhile, and with the sun going down, I decided to try building a Swedish Torch. This was inspired by a YT video I saw the night before.
Got myself a bit of a workout splitting that log into 3 pieces. As the fire intensified, I went back for more cornhole.
As the dusk set in, the fire became stronger. I sat in front of the pit and savor a cold beer on a peaceful Friday evening!

That sounds like an awesome evening. :thumbs-up:

I removed a 3' diameter locust stump with a scissor jack, an axe, a chainsaw, and shovels one time when I was 25. Took me over 2 weeks, but I got it. I was really proud of that accomplishment. I chased roots about 20' around that stump and dug them all up.

Fun part was burning all the chunks under a fire ban, right across the street from the fire department. We cooked hot dogs and that was ok since recreational fires were still permitted. Every night we left it smoldering. Every morning I came back to the wood being washed down a hill by the fire department. Every night we had more hotdogs and marshmallows until it was all turned to ash.

Stump location and fire department 🤣

🤣 I guess they were watching you waiting to put it out? Should have borrowed some of the tools off the truck. 🫠

My next yard project I'm leaving Halloween skeletons every where buried. The next person here will be digging and then freak out as I piss myself watching the news. 😝🤪

Yeah, almost every night they would pull the trucks out and they would sit in the bay in lawn chairs, just hanging out. The first time I lit the fire I hollered and asked them if they wanted some marshmallows, then POOF! Chainsaw gas like my dad always did. 😅

Come on now, we all know the truth is that fire fighters are closeted pyros!

I had my own fire start concoction. My neighbor wanted some and I told him to be careful. He came back asking where he could get it....... 2 stroke oil, ethonal free gas, old 33%nitro and some other chit mixed in. My special blend.

We used whatever was lying around that was flammable. Fuel oil was my dad's fav. But out in the woods cutting down trees it was always chainsaw gas. I used to love throwing handfulls of sawdust at the fires like a magician when I was young. You could get some amazing fireballs with dust off of the Shopsmith under the 12" disc sander 🤣

Ok so I found a new track. Might be a suspicious location but its been open for about 3 years. They took an old chicken coup and converted it into a multi RC track hangout and race spot. And its only about 25 minutes from my grandparents house in Delaware which I find amazing. They have a dirt oval, 2 lane dirt offroad track, and a multi floor crawler course. Place is called Bird Coop RC. They are open Saturdays from 12-when ever. and open Friday nights for test n tune. And no fees, they run off of donations. So ill keep this place saved for the spring when I go down to the beach. Delaware is known for dirt oval in RC down there but I'm surprised I found a decent offroad track near by.

@Doom! and a few others, yall would love this

I've been having a tough time trying to explain the design plans for the dining, family and living room areas to Mrs Certified...
Now she can watch it on video over and over again! ❤️

Good luck getting that idea to go over 🤣

Good luck getting thst idea to go over 🤣
Maybe not the stonework all over the hardwood floors but she might actually let a wooden bridge and a few other crazy obstacles go up in here...
She's pretty cool! 😎👍😉
Might have to give the kitchen and laundry tables back first tho... 🤔🤣

Snow removal x 2
We keep getting flurries.
I hate to get the snowblower out for this but if I don't move it now, the snow will freeze there till June! 🤣
Did you guys get a lot?
Couple inches here.
Still chaos on the roads! 🤣🤣🤣

Only about 5"-6" of very light stuff. I could have waited until the snow stopped falling around 4pm, but I didn't want the snow packed down hard because the family would be in and out with their cars.
I can hear the wind picking up. I hope it doesn't blow the snow all back onto where I cleaned it.

Just finished clearing the driveway. No snowblower.
It melted a bit and was real easy to move with a shovel.

Parents are coming today, finally, for late Xmas! ❤️☃️🎄

So now i can run them wired through my desktop and charge them with maybe faster times as well as play them with 24-bit\48,000 HZ Studio quality setting according to Windows sound output and on bluetooth my Beats headphones ran at 16 bit\48,000 HZ DVD quality setting. These new headphones are astounding compared to what i had in the past and i'm super impressed also i forgot to mention that i've owned these headphones for more than a whole week.

One last thing, Next week on Thursday the 16th i will be 25 years old on my birthday. I'll make sure to post a special update about what i do and what gifts i get on my birthday next week.
