i have a 3.3 t maxx it ran great and i killed a fuel line i took the fuel line off of my jato and it worked great then i got the new fuel line for the maxx put the jato line back on the jato and ran the jato for a tank it always runs great but now the maxx runs only with the ez on it run good and wants to take off when i give gas but if i take my finger off of the ez start it dies anybody know whats wrong
 
Remove the glow plug from the cylinder. Place the glow plug wire back in the glow plug and ensure you touch the outside of the plug to the cylinder head. Place your starter in the socket, and start like normal. Plug will glow if it is good...but make sure the plug is touching the chasis (cylinder head) or you will have false readings. :beer:
 
but its a brand neww plug i have tried it with two new plug fresh out of the box and it still does it:\

new line and can't fined any air getting in anywere
 
I had the same problem with an OS.18 engine yesterday...The engine would only run with the glow stick on it.The second I removed the glow stick it died right away..I tried 4 different type plugs and eventually started playing with the carb..It ran worse when rich so I tried leaning it out....It ran without the glowstick for about 5 mins after leaning it out before the engine quit for good without starting up again....I took it apart to inspect it and found the engine is too worn out to run right.Time to get the sleeve repinched.Theres a guy that offers sleeve/piston repinching for $19 bucks on ebay.Good luck with yours..

nope wont stay runing at all i put a zip tie on the ez start to see if would drive a around and its runing great if i leave the ez start on but when i took it off it die right away and glow is glow hot and bright so i dont think i have to keep swaping them out
 
try retuning ur engine now that you have it sorted... a badly tuned engine can kill your glow plugs!! i found that 1 out haha! good luck!
