I just realized something

I was wondering if anyone knows anything about the GS B01? I was running it today and when I brought it in the engine was smoking:flaming: so I shut it off and waited till it cooled and then checked the carb settings, the HSN was about 2 3/4 out but the lsn was odd, when I tried to turn it in all the way to check the # the throttle body would not open? It was like it was locked down by the needle, when I do this with the savage it works fine? any ideas?

when you take a thread with a topic and change it.:OT:
I am guilty of this all the time so dont feel bad. If you cannot adjust the LSN you need to take your carb apart and llok at the assembly to see if there is dirt or something broken. If your LSN is all the way closed then in my understanding the spray bar will not move.

sorry!:sorry: :sorry: I'm new to this. Anyway when I loosen the needle the slide moves fine, now I dont know where to start to set it right.

Just set it back to factory settings according to the documentation and see what happens then.

on alot of small block engines - whenu turn the LSN all the way in, it will block the barrel of the carb. just go about it normally, its nothing to worry about.
Screw it in until u feel resistance, not too far though, then back it out according to the manuals break-in instructions.

Thanks all, I looked through my instructions but none came with the motor specifically, I am going to run it by my lhs tommorow and see what they say. thanks again.
