I found 2 Great vigor Tornados from 1980s with 2 magnum pro .21 that he bought in 1990. With both manuals ( With photos )

So far so good. I removed an engine. It's seized and I've yet to unzeized it. I've been using penetrating oil to try to unseize it. Any tips? I'll keep you updated. I'll get more close ups later ( engines, transmission, battery/servo box etc. )

UPDATE! : I got the engine from the one without the rollcage unseized. It has a shot bearing in it. I believe it's the on the front!

2ND UPDATE : Red liquid leaked out from my engine. It kind of looks like some tomato soup.. Maybe I should drink it

My two bearings are shot. But I have another motor and I coulkd always order some bearings

THe one with the roll bar has a motor that has good berarings and that I've unseized. I'll post a video when/if I get it running (In a separate post)

The photos aren't very good I'll get some close ups later. The first vehicle has everything I just removed it. The engine is seized as it's been sitting since the mid 2000s if not more. It's my only issue currently

Sweet thanks for pics!

How are the fuel tanks? from what I can see they look a lot like one from Duratrax Axis/Flying point jet probe or torsen.

The one in the photo seems good. I've yet to test them. I'll test them both thoroughly today
If they are unusable I may have some very close in size just lmk

Sometime require heat to remove the sleeve of the piston if that is what you are referring to ,I really
don't like to give out tips or how too's in case of damage ,but there is a vid on where & how to use
heat to remove parts!..😎

Thanks. By siezed I mean that I can't turn the engine over. I've given up on taking it apart fully unless absolutely necessary
If they are unusable I may have some very close in size just lmk
Thanks.

How would I test my fuel tank? Since the engine is seized I can't prime and on top of that this car starts via a starter box

Good question! I have always tested using an engine running for just a minute, maybe plug off one either inlet or outlet using a short known good peice of fuel tubing, use the other to pressurize tank and a vaccuum gauge or something?

I look at the o ring, and/or gasket under lid to start, if good shape then I look for obvious damage around where the sealing edge is most are in the middle around, and cracks, any old residue on bottom, and any other seals.

Usually if those are all okay, it's probably useable.

May I see more pics of the tank? And if you could, rough dimensions? Thanks

The dimension are 3 1/2" x 1 5/8" everything seems good. I plugged the tube that goes to the exhaust ( the one in the photo ) then I blew into the one that goes to the exhaust ( I removed it after I took the photos ). If you need any other photos just let me know! And sorry for the image quality I must've gotten some grease/penetrating oil on the lense

Nice cars
Thanks I'll post a running vid once I get a starter box for them. The green one (which is also my PFP ) works but the other one has two shot bearings. I've contacted boca bearing and I'll just have to get the measures of the front/rear to see if they carry the same size
