HI, had my buggy for 3 months now and have noticed I'm having to have the hsn further and further in to get good performance. It began at 2 turns out after breakin, but now to avoid bogging or flameouts i am having to have the needle at less than 3/4 of a turn out from full closed! The engine is a n sh.18. Could it be a faulty screw and spring?

It's still breaking in and reaching it's performance level. As long as your temps are good and you're still seeing a smoke trail, you're good.

I'm not sure... 3/4 out is a little lean isnt it?

maybe an o-ring or somethings worn out or been pinched or come loose and your getting too much fuel through the carby. hence, your tuning to compensate.

you might like to take apart the carby and needles to check that everything is a-ok.

but then again, you might like to listen to some real experts...:hehe:
