Dear rc memberships,

I reacently installed my new Hpi T3.0 nitro star engine on my Tamiya tg10 mk2 rc car, It was running quit good for a while, the problem now is that the engine is running, but my shaft doesn't turn or it doesn't Rotary the wheel, can anybody tell me what it is? or how I maybe can fix this problem? Thanks,

Kind Regards,

Bram Pietersen

You will need to find the disconnection…

Is the clutch bell turning when you apply throttle? If so are the spur gears turning? If spurs are turning and not the F&R center shafts look at the 2 speed mechanism. Just follow the output of power until you find the disconnection.

Hi,

thanks for the reply,
The clutch bell is in fact not turnig, but the engine is still running.. can't figure o9ut what teh problem is, its accelerating but the shaft isn moving,

Kind Regards,

Bram pietersen

If the clutch bell isn’t spinning when you apply throttle you have a clutch related problem.
Check the flywheel to be sure its tight on the crankshaft also when you tear it down.
