Is it me or is HPI slowly starting to update many of their chassis and gearing them towards competitive racing?

Nitro Rush Evo
R40
Savage

Seems like they're coming out with new chassis everyday. As if they're trying to get away from their bashing reputation (at least I think of it that way) and gearing towards bash worthy, yet still race competitive.

It seems like you're right. HPI is obviously trying to be a much bigger competitor in the RC market today, and they obviously hit a big homerun with the Savage. They've always been one of the big names, but it looks like now they'd like to be one of the top names on the touring car racing circuit with the R40.
