HPI and Motorsaver

Isn't the HPI High Performace Air Filter for the Savage the same as the Motor Saver. If not what's the difference besides $5.00?
Are these the best for the job?

From what I've heard and read, yes, they are the same. And yes, it's a vast improvement over stock. If you get one, make sure it has the foam outer cover. I've seen some that don't have it.

They are essentially the same filter. Either one is a great improvement over the stock filter. As Error stated, get one with the outer filter element...and use it.

Also, the difference in cost varies from LHS to LHS. Just depends on what they can get it for. I've seen each one a little cheaper than the other depending on where I look.

Go with the Motor Saver - It is larger in diameter than the HPI by 2mm - Thus, larger filter equals more air flow which equals MORE POWER.
