how to replace 4tec fuel tank??

Is there a trick to it? or is it as bad as it looks? looks like the whole darn thing needs to be stripped.

It's a shame they don't all come apart with ease like the Savage X.
Just pull two pins and lift it out, pinch off the gas line and remove the back pressure hose and it's free.

Hope you can get it removed without too much trouble and bother.

Flip it over and pull all the screws out of the bottom of the chassis. Then turn it back over and lift the chassis plate up and the fuel tank comes out the bottom.

Sounds like a lot but isnt that bad really.

All the bottom screws? the engine mounts and all?

Hi,
Ah, what a relief it is!!
As that's also the easiest way to remove the Savage X 4.6 motor, from the bottom,
4 screws are removed.

I have a Nitro 4-Tech myself & wouldent know where to start with a fuel tank swap out... OHH BUY THE WAY why I am on the subject what size is the screw that hold's the 4-techs wheel assm to the front a-arms mine poped out the other day racing my buddies HPI RS3 Drift nitro...
