How much do you spend?

On avarage how much do you spend each body you do?
Like for the lid,paint,and mask. My total for my hummer is 70 and thats way too much imo. So I'm coming up with a new design.

I guess it depends. When you're just starting, it costs a lot because you have to lay out more cash for paint and supplies. As you do more, you have more paint laying around so it doesn't cost as much. On average, it probably cost me $35-40 per body for the body and paint supplies. But that doesn't include the $$ I've invested in my airbrush and compressor and the amount of time it takes me to do each one.

Thats only 2 colors. On average a body cost 30. Color 5. I redid me body design and the total is 50.

2 mor questions.

Is flaming fluro orange a dark yellow when painted?
How much bob dively,s liquid mask will it take to cover a large suv body 4 times?

I guess it depends on the body. An average touring car body is about $22. Then the paint on top of that. The General Lee was a bit more because the body was $35 by itself. Plus a couple hours of cutting letter masks and stuff.

Anyway, to answer your questions, I have no ide what color flaming flouro orange is.
And I would buy the big bottle of liquid mask because it helps to put it on thick.

the body i just did for my savage (dodge ram competition orange) was about 35 or 40 dollars. just one color

Colors that I use for flames are [Flour Orange or Flour red] and flour yellow.

I was going to do an all yellow humer,black trim, and red drips. Then it and relized the yellow is too bright. So i was going to get the brightes orange i could find. So iwas wondering if flaming fluro orange would look good with red drips and black trim.

Thats crazy expensive. Why so much? I'm currently working on a Lexus Gs 400 right now, and the lid was $18.99, and I'm doing a few different colors at $2.99 a piece and then a roll of masking tape (I'm old skool!) So Id say maybe $30-$35 a lid..

Usually $30-35 per body. I just get the standard rattle cans, which work pretty good IMO.
