Looking at all the different crawler šŸ’© out there. And saw this. Didn't realize these winches really pulled that much weight.Just figured for show. Impressive pretty strong for the little guy

Powerful for sure but I doubt very much I'll ever use mine out on the trail. Like I've mentioned before, I'll never crawl in competitions so no reason to use them. They do however look very cool and I have them on all of my crawlers.

Oh really? They use those in comps. That's awesome. Don't lie you really haven't use one of them just once?šŸ¤”šŸ¤” had to aleast once

All right man. Get your rig in a tough spot and let's see some winch action! I have never used one, so I have never had to set one up in a transmitter. How do you control the stopping points?

That's what I'm wondering. The one in video was a switch on bumper. Can they be hooked to a receiver and Trans. That would be cool. I don't think they have end points. As they are made to just pull in and out no in between.

I used it more picking crap up in my shop... :p

These particular winches don't run through my tx, I have a remote for them.

Oic. I bought my 6 channel radio just to add a winch and 4ws to one if my rigs, but never did follow through with it. Maybe my current 1/16 build can get one put in it.

Rc4wd has one that supposedly pulled a 1:1 around 4k Ibs.
I'm sceptical of this

I'm still planning to get at one winch to try out. I absolutely think they look killer on any off-road rig. I don't comp either, but I can see myself using it just for pure giggles.

I am too. I'm assuming it was the "same" as in dementions, teeth, etc, but I'm wondering if a, its the same material,
And b, was it down hill. Any advertisements and commercials I question heavy nowdays.

Hence the supposedly.

If it was a perfectly level grade, or slightly downhill, I can kinda see this working šŸ¤” What I would be more interested in seeing though is how much weight it can lift straight up to know for sure if pulling a full sized truck were even possible.

Your thinking to hard on this and the salesman is sweating.

If it can do 500 to 1000 straight up, I would be impressed.

I don't really watch to many YT. I just look up stuff that I need or looking into. But get some mark Santa Maria, Talbot, and the guys here that have channels. I just want to see RCs don't need a bunch of talking and selling me crap.I want RCs

I don't know about that one. that's some really good camera work rite there. Way to much editing. And bouncing around. I mean big squid does alot of good reviews so maybe that would be very cool to see in person or just straight up video of it.

@Xraycer If you get their deluxe off road policy, they send a Sikorsky sky crane to retrieve you. :p
I can't afford that package.....but, I can afford a winch.
Plus, you'll be waiting hours for that chopper to get there.
