What are the pros and cons of the digital and standerd, if i get a digital hitec will i nodic a diff???

If you get this months issue of X-treme RC they cover this exact question.
Here is a small part of what they have to say.

Digital
Super accurate
Increased holding power
Faster response
Cost more
Use more current

Analog
Less Expensive
More durable
More selection
Less accurate
Doesn't center as accurate.

What do yo mean by accurate???

Accurate
1. Conforming exactly to fact; errorless.
2. Deviating only slightly or within acceptable limits from a standard.
3. Capable of providing a correct reading or measurement.
4. Acting or performing with care and precision; meticulous.

I would agree except imo which is less experienced then Ed is that a Digital servo is no less durable than a Analog servo. Just my .02

I have not seen any durability differences. Of course all-metal geared servos are nice and tough.

I'm still not catching on a servo dosnt put out info.

Digital servos can be programmed for speed, torque, length of throw and centering and a few other things. That's what I'm told by the guys using them at the flying field. There's a computer program and a USB cable. You program them for what you want and then feed that info back to a memory chip in the servo through the USB.
Also, if I'm correct, not all receivers can deal with digital servos.

ok i got it thanks yall.
