Looking to swap out out my LRP28 from my back half Jato for a higher RPM motor. With 39/19 gearing it's topping out at 55mph. Even with a 3.3 running 50/24T, OS 11k carb and VP 30% race blend it barely broke 50. I'm leaning towards either a RCR modded LRP or an OS21. Curious what others think would be a good motor with high RPM. My goal is to get it to hit break 70mph.

I've heard good things about Nova but I'm not too familiar with their motors and I definitely don't want to fork out the money for one if it's not going to move the car faster.

Theres nothing wrong with that LRP and the speeds you are hitting. I would probably go with the OS but, what pipes have you tried? Different pipes favor different RPM ranges.

Yea there's nothing "wrong" with those speeds, I've had a couple of friends look at me like I'm nuts when I told them I want it to break 70. Right now it's got a THS on road circuit pipe. I'm limited because of the design of the chassis and placement of the motor. I can't have pipes too long otherwise it'll hit the front tire.
