So my HFP 80 started wobbling like this and I'm not sure why. at first I thought maybe I banged up the blades to much but I switched rotor blades and it is still doing it. Any one have any ideas?

The feathering shaft is the part that allows the main rotor to change pitch.

I dont see anything that i would classify as a feathering shaft...other than the main rotor shaft the only thing I see is 2 servo links and 2 smaller all plastic ball link type connections. Heres a bunch of pictures...maybe you guys can see something that I dont?

The shaft at the top of the main shaft that the blade holders attach to is the feathering shaft.

ahhhh ok :)

I just ordered a V2 (Didnt know they had a v2 or Id have ordered it in the first place) so i'll use it and use the V1 for spare parts since I dont see anything wrong with this one. I probably did bend something...I must have crashed it 100 times trying to figure out how to set it up in my TX. It had to be set up as a plane...who would have thunk it?! lol It will be a month before the Chinese stuff arrives.

the V2 says it has a 6 axis gyro instead of the 3 axis gyro that the V1 has...I'm assuming this will make it more stable :)

So is the metal piece in the middle of this assembly the feathering shaft then?

Can you hold it, wind it up, and feel the wobble? I would try running up the RPM's and holding it, examine it, something might have a warp causing a shake of some kind. Either way, it should be some issue around your main rotor unit from the looks of it. With a shake like that it certainly does not look like any kind of a tail wag....

Have you had the main gear slip yet? If so, make sure it's pushed all the way up and there is no vertical play between the rotor head and where it rides on the frame. My MCPx would behave this way if the main gear was the slightest bit loose after a crash.

It did slip once and I pushed it back up but I'll double check it again when i get home. The wobbling (if I'm holding it still) seems to be coming from the very top portion up where the feathering shaft is. Maybe its bent but not enough that its visible without taking it apart?
