Help with Potential used TRX4 Buy

I am looking at possibly buying a used Traxxas TRX4 and honestly don’t know much about these trucks. This may even be a forum members rig. Wanted to get some opinions on this based on the pictures. Any help or thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

I’d say it’s a pretty good deal.

I’m no expert, but seems like 1k+ to build a new one like that.

Honestly, whoever built it has already addressed all of the important bits. Shock towers, portal covers, servo, sliders, tires, and a fusion combo. A little link tuning, and some slight tweaks for center of gravity, and you'll be amazed at the lines it'll pull. 4 bills is a no brainer for that- buy it!

Does have a body but no radio or battery

Hey Polyboy33 I have TRX4 good RC crawler it looks like the previous owner did a lot of the important upgrades and $400 might be a little high because it doesn't have the diff locks or the two speed setup. I paid $460 for my TRX4 which was a used one when I got it. It is the older K-5 blazer.

Man this is a slippery slope…just picked up this too. May look for a trailer so my TRX4 can pull my TRX4 Sport.
