Hi i have a quick question i have a torq 12 engine and i start it up in 25 degree wewather it runs great then if i let the truck try and idle it stalls out then taqkes like a hour to cool down too start it again can any1 tell me whats wrong if its the carbureter plzz try and tell me what u run in cold wether and what the rite seeting is
and if some1 overtightened the needles can that cause a problem?

Thanks :bling:

I'm not a master at this yet but it sounds like your running it to lean and the engine is over heating.

cold weather = richer settings

sounds like your runnig wayy to lean and invest in a temp gun go out and but a duratrax one they go for around $20

yeah you are running a little lean , richen up the main needle setting a bit... if it stalls when running rich , it is because its flooded, but thats ok you can just blip the throttle now and then to clear it out...

you're def running lean though , so next time you go out. start it up . then turn the needle to richen it. youll hear the idle slow down a bit as you turn , thats ok, just keep turning it richer and give the throttle a tap here and there as you do it to keep it running.
