Except I am not 20 miles above the earth in a roller coaster. You guys don't understand... I turn ghost white, sweaty palms... and have been known to swear out loud. I litterally freak out... it is not pleasant.

I have anxiety pretty bad to man its not fun.

Hey Guys! Made it to San Fran and back. The flights were ok, not great, but I survived. My daughter was ok... she moved around alot, but did not scream. So we were not the people that everyone was looking at while they were trying to watch the movie. The plane was cool... it had live Satalite TV so I was able to watch sportcenter the whole way out, and was able to watch the entire replay of Saturday's NASCAR race on the way back... so it was not that bad. While we were there we did downtown, fishermans warf, Lambard Street, Alcatraz, Vista Point at the Golden Gate bridge. We drove into Salsalido (sp?) and had lunch and we got to see the Redwoods at Muir Woods National Park. We saw as much as my daughter would let us which means we were pretty rushed through most of it, but it was still fun. My kids really enjoyed the Sea Lions at Pier 39 and the aquarium. Now as for the wedding, my daughter only let us barely get through dinner before it was time to go. We missed the cake and speeches and I never got to dance with my wife, but it was a very nice wedding. It was at a mansion in Burlingame. Oh yeah... we also took a cable car ride through downtown too.

Just thought I would let you guys know we made back just fine, and now if we can just get though the readjusting back to East Coast time that would be great!

Wow!

You actually crammed a lot into such a short stay.

Glad to hear you are home safe and sound.

Glad you had a good time and made it back safely. The sea lions are funny as hell. They get mad and push each other off the docks.

Thanks Guys. It was a pretty whirlwind trip for sure. Not much time spent in the hotel. We landed about 10:30 am on Wednesday morning and pretty much hit the ground running. We were pretty much tourists until about 2 hours before the wedding. It all went by pretty fast. We basically jumped out took a picture and kept going. Although we did have time to enjoy it. I had dungeness crab while I was out there... it was fantastic. We also had a sundae at Ghiradelli Square. About the only thing we didn't get to do that we wanted to was to drive out to Napa and have dinner.... kinda hard with two kids. So maybe next time. All in all we tried to make the best of our time while we were there. It sounds like alot... but we really had alot more time out there than it seemed. The only bad part is flying back on a Sunday when you have to work the next day. We flew out at 7:15 Sunday morning and didn't land until 4 pm local... man the time loss stinks! By time we got off, got our bags, took the shuttle to our car and drove the two hours from the airport back home, stop for dinner, it was almost 9 pm.

I'm glad you enjoyed it! I would love to go to Cali! farthest west I've been is Michigan.

Dude! That is killer!

Glad to hear you made it without causing too much of a ruckus :)

That did rock. A 2000+ mile trip went by rather quickly thank in part to being able to watch the race. I was so into the race I didn't even notice the turbulance or how long we were actually in the air. It was exactly what I needed.

Hey Scooby... California was nice. I really enjoyed myself... although I only saw just one city out of many to visit. I would love to get to Napa and San Diego some day.
