Cool what is the best way to break them in
17/36 is the gear combo i use and i love it, plenty of power to pull the wheels and on a good tune it will pull the wheels up when it hits second gear and i'm using the traxxas single chamber tuned pipe and i love the gear combo.
What header gasket do I need to go from the picco to a bb header
Here is a write up on the Traxxas forums for making your own BB header gasket:

I'm picking up the same motor for my Revo and also doing 17/36 gearing. I plan to go with the Dynamite 053 side pipe.

I went from the THS rear to the Dynamite 053 sidepipe and it was a huge difference. The 053 makes the Picco fly! I also use 17/36 gearing and I love it!
I have only broke in two first one I used traxxas method second I used heat cycle in the link above both motors have about 1/2 gal through them but the picco that I used heat cycle on has lots more pinch so I'm only using heat cycles on any engine now
