Hey, looking for a new motor for my Evader ST. The esc has a 12t limit, but would like to stay 13t and above to not risk anything. I'm looking for some good top end, yet want some torque to pull some wheelies. I'm looking to spend around $30.

Let me know what you come up with.

Is this how it works?
Turns - Lower, more top end. Higher, more torque?
Winds - More winds = higher top end, Less winds = more torque?

So if I got something thats low turns, and high winds would that be good top end and good torque for wheelies?'

What would best suite the evader st? Let me know what you come up with.
Thanks!

a 13 quad ought to be right about what you'd want. Gear it about 5-6 teeth less than a stock motor, and it should be fairly close. I run a D4 12 quad in my rc10b3, and that thing wheelies with a near dead pack. It's also stupid-fast, so ya need to learn how to use the middle range of the throttle.

It definately feels odd, heh. I'm gonna try to stay green, too (even if it means dippin myself in rustoleum).

I've been running reedy Ti 12x2's and orion revolution 12x2's in my T4 lately.. but i just picked up a checkpoint 12x2.. I've ran a couple of other winds but the 12x2 is just my favorite its FAST and has alot of torque....
