were did this come from rolex ?
He might have been here just before you joined. He took a major Cyber beating by the members here, and every now and then he comes back, thinking he's been forgotten, and gets beaten again. A good time was had by all.
.......well, except for him.

I just looked for the link to the lengthy thread titled, "T-Maxx running at 370", and since it ended up in the FFA, it's now gone.
Too bad, it was very entertaining reading, and really showed how the members here stick up for each other.
I think it might be because of him that someone started NMLOR.
That stood for No More Liars On RCNT.

It's all yours, godale03. Buy an engine from Crisco Head if you're looking for something to throw off a cliff.

Groovy... I could put one of those little onboard cameras on it and when it goes over the cliff we could be along for the ride.... kinda like those crashes in NASCAR! Ok...... so it wasn't that funny... I haven't had my coffee yet!

some jagoff that bragged about selling a blown mill on e-bat to guy for his kids present......we flamed him good...he's not banned so he comes around every now and then and I think we do a good job shutting him down quick....search posts from cisco red and it's in there somewhere...real long thread....

That is why I prefer to buy from someone on this site rather than off of Ebay. You never know what you are getting unless you are buying something new. That is one of the other reasons that I love this site. I know the info and parts available are being offered honestly and in good faith.

BTW.... speaking of Jagoffs... whatever happened to that guy that was on a few weeks ago saying he was going to kill everybody? He took quite a cyber beating as well.... :boxing:

I Dunno I missed that one...got a link or name???? sounds like good reading

I am still looking... he first posted in the TMaxx forum, and then introduced himself in the intro forum saying that if you look at him wrong he will kill you, if you tick him off he will kill you.... and so on.... Sounded like a real winner. I will see if I can find it.

Tom

Hey Plaid.... it is the 5th post down in the intro forum entitled ME by RRR. You have got to let me know what you think of this guy.... sounds like he just wants some attention!

Tom

All I have to say is
Re-re-RETARD....he will one day run into someone who'll straighten him out....wish it could be me but I avoid areas known for their in-breeding practices......still wanna throw your buggy off a cliff????
I was feeling that way 2 weekends ago myself.....luckily calm head and coolness prevailed.....and some help from the track people.....

Naaaaaa... the buggy I want to keep, the mill however! But Like you said, I just took a step back acepted the task knowing it was not going to be easy, and went back to work. Then went and had a beer. I am still having a hell of a time with it. It still wants to flood alot. I have got to find the factory settings for the LSN. I have leaned it an hour, and I am still getting way to much nitro pouring out of the pipe. I think if I get that part licked... I will be able to start it up. The few seconds I get it started and try to blip the throttle to clear out the crap.. it stalls. I know its because it is still to rich, but I need to figure out how to get it to where I can put a bit of a load on it. Cuz if I can't I will not be able to start the next phase of break in.... If it were not for the starter box, I don't think I would be able to get it to crank. The pull cable sux! :hammer: Still got that motor for sale for $50?

Tom

nah....I get mills frequently though.....just keep leaning it out in small increments until it starts...you may over lean it to get it to clear out so be careful...if it dies when you blip it try slow throttle...I know it's still not broken in but unless you want to remove the pipe and head to clean it manually you might have to do a slow full throttle blip and rev it a little to clean it out......don't let the gunk sit too long either it makes it harder for you to clear it.....it sucks to have to tune bottom up while you're breaking in cause you really shouldn't do the heavy throttle for about 3-4 tanks....but I know guys that do some half assed break in on RB WS7 II by driving slow for 2 tanks in a row no cool down and then 2 tanks of throttle blips and they seem to last a reasonable amount of time.....I'm in NO WAY recommending that but just to show you won't kill your engine by clearing it out a little.....hey you could have it real bad...a month ago I watched a guy buy a new mugen pre-built and said he could get fuel cheaper than what the shop sold it...he went to the gas station and filled up his can (w/ premium of course) and came back later and couldn't understand why his 1000 dollar setup wouldn't run......if your gonna be dumb you gotta be tough (or rich)......

That's what I am afraid of... having the motor running so rich that it gums up almost immediately. After running it though I to flush it as best I can to get all excess fuel out, and then run some after run through it. I just keep going back to factory settings and then start over from scratch. Just making small adjustments. So your advice is helping me though. I just take a deep breath and then go back to it. I figure eventually I will have to get it right. The longer I do it the better I will get right? LOL I just can't believe the damn thing is running that rich! I am adjusting the HSN like 30 degrees and then trying to start. The LSN I moved an hour before that. I just dont want to mushroom the LSN I have heard that it is really easy to do. I am sure I will get it.... I would work on it Friday night again but I have to go to a pampered chef party my girlfriend is throwing. Which isn't all bad... it is Margarita night!

Tom

hey save some margaritas for the friday nite session...you might need em...LOL....if you know the engine is running rich then try leaning it out more than 1hr after you go to factory settings.....and you will know whenyour gonna mushroom your LSN cause you'll feel it get tighter to turn.....besides you'll probably mushroom it from going in all the way to find the factory settings easier than leaning it out where it's at......I should be more aware of factory settings but I'm doing the hard knox lessons where I just try and do it from where it's at.....sometimes I get it right and sometimes I end up being ass backwards on the needle settings......but eventually I'll get it right and drop the V-spec in.....Now that's the mill I don't want to mess up when I do the upgrade.....

Tell me about it! In fact the guy at my LHS tried to get me to trade in the RG for the Vspec plus a C note. I told him I would rather learn how to tune on a less expensive mill.... the VSpec is on my list.... hey why we are speaking about mills... would the VSpec be a good upgrade once I destroy the RG? Or could I even install the RG in my TMaxx? Thanks man.

.... trust me... the Margaritas will be present durning tuning... but just as relaxer... don't want to tune the mill half in the bag!

Tom

unless yu have a .21 conversion kit for your max and the RG has pull start then no it won't work...as for what to replace it w/ when you're ready...I say you know how good your tuning skills are...if you are confident thendo it...I'm Ok I can get good punch from the bottom and nice WOT response but I'm still waiting til I just know that's what I want...I bout one and returned it recently for a whole RG mill/ 063 pipe / Mugen clutch setup and a JR8611 servo.....the cost of one mill can get me all that..then I'm going to stick w/ that setup until I'm bored w/ the power it gives.....

is that how quick I'll get bored of it????
I've been running them about 6 months now fairly regularly....I'm slow on the learning curve as my work area is severely limited right now...I have to bring everything to the track as I packed it up usually....so all my stuff stays put away at home for now.....maybe in a few months I'll be able to start setting my workspace up for home again....just need to get a few situations clear before then.....but I'm not really bored yet....I actually like the way it responds much better than the RB-z.....i think that mill is a waste o cash.....the V-spec is unreal....I'm leary of the bearing issues but I'll see how they're doing when I get another one to use.....right now I want to make my buggies run consistently.....I tried racing last weekend and got 5/6 in the first heat and got a leak in my fuel line and flamed out in the 2nd Heat, then I was shutting down every time I jumped and cased it in the B-main.....I got a fast lap time inthe second heat as I was running leaner though...LOL....it was like a friggin rocket......anyway I'm in no rush to get on the podium here...the guys at mills pond are really good so rather than jump out and make an ass clown out of myself there I'd rather take it slow and learn to do things the right way.....just the way I like to do it....nice and slow

ass clown! Thats hilarious.... Thats what the neighbors must think I am while I am out there cussing and pouring nitro all over my driveway... which I have to clean up now! I am trying to sell my house and I don't want any negative stuff.

Anywho I agree with you Plaid about taking it slow. I am in no hurry to place either.... I just want to be on the track more than in the pits... and if I take the time to break the mill in right, then while all those ass munches that give me a hard time are in the pits turning the needles I will be making dust on the track. At least that is my dream anyway.... Ass clown... thats just too funny.... is that like ass monkey like in Bruce Almighty? :)

Tom

I liked that one too...wish I coudtake credit but I saw Bad Santa a few months ago and that line made me wet myself...

and I do agree w/ mike on his advice I just find it better to learn consitent running before I go for the performance aspect......Sun Tzu's words can be carried over to many aspects of your daily life even if you are not a warrior.....

You know I will just run the RG until it dies and if I like it enough I will rebuild it. I have heard some many great things about how well built and reliable mill it is. It has alot of low end which is great for me, b/c my local track is short. I will try and post a pic of the new design on this post if I can. I had the choice of getting the Vspec up front and the guy at my LHS said the RG would work for me alot better. We shall see.... cuz at the moment the damn thing wont run! Man if you video taped me trying to break this mill in you would make a 10K on Americas Funniest Home Videos.. it would be more popular than the football in the groin.... although that one is a classic.

I have never seen Bad Santa... on my list... I usually get all my saying from South Park.... I love you guys... except you Kyle...
