Iam a volunteer project lead for the Sahuaro Central Railroad Museum in Pheonix Arizona. The Museum is selling two 1:60 RC, WW II warships, so thought I would mention this on the forum.

The ship models are a matched pair of hand crafted, giant scale, RC controlled replicas of:

German Battleship Bismarck - 13’ loa, 29” beam, 9” draft- $4975
Heavy Cruiser Escort Prince Eugen - 12’ Loa, 20” beam, 9” draft- $3900

Both vessels are hand constructed of edge nailed and glued wood plank hulls, seam reinforced with fiberglass tape. They are both equipped with three motors, functioning prop shafts, and bronze propellers, per the original vessel specification. All superstructure, gun tubes and fittings are hand made.

Batteries, RC radio and receivers not included.

The vessels are stored at our Museum in Pheonix, Arizona and are being sold as we are out of display space and can not properly maintain or protect them in our long term storage area.

They are being offered separately. However, the Museum Board would consider a generously discounted price if sold as a set.

Iam happy to provide additional information and photos. Also, arrange for on site inspection.

Beautiful models, I don't even want to know how much it would cost to transport something like that. Good luck with your sale, it's hard to see something like this just sitting and not being appreciated.

Beautiful models. Might we get the name of who it was that made these works of art? Do you have any other info about who it was that built them? To me, that info should be preserved with models such as this.

I often think about the things I have made over the years and wish I had signed and dated them. There are a lot of things that will outlive me.

We can use my daughter's Corolla. It has a roof rack. Let me know.

Super looking ships. shipping wow really. I think the buyer should build their transport trailer and launcher to fetch ...
