rich...but if you're still breaking it in then it's fine....break-in periods run the engine really rich...when I broke in my O.S. I had to lean it out just a little each time because the thing sounded like it was about to die it was running so rich...so yeah, it's normal

Do you have a temp gun? The main thing when breaking them in is to get the up to temp. I know with my .21's, I like to get it up to about 180 degrees on the first tank to allow for proper expansion of the p/s. If you run it to rich many believe that you can cause immature wear on the p/s b/c the sleeve doesn't expand due to the cold temps.

Excess fuel coming out of the exhaust is normal during break in. It just shows that you're running rich and it helps lubricate the piston and sleeve. After the first tank you want to go ahead and lean out the motor about a 1/16-1/8 of a turn for the 2nd tank. Good luck.

Fuel coming out of the exhaust is normal at all time, you would like to have a little bit fuel spitting out from the exhaust to know that your getting enough lube.
