Wasn't sure where to post this but fuel goes in the motor so I'm putting it
In motor category.... I found a gallon fairly cheap on eBay and was wondering if anyone has used it and what they think. My local hobby shop is small and over priced. So someone please tell me if this fuel is at least worth purchasing thanks!! ImageUploadedByTapatalk1346778140.666993.webp

If your ordering on-line I would suggest Werks 30% racing fuel, imo it's one of the best fuels available with just the right mix of synthetic and castor oils.

not only is the fuel great, the co. is great to. that is who i buy my 100% nitro from.

Okay another "newbie" question what %nitro do I run in a Traxxas Tmaxx2.5r the motor is 2.5r but the truck is a 3.3 frame. So to get more "torque" could I use a higher grade nitro?

I run 33% Byrons with a medium plug in my 2.5R and it really opened it up to its full potential. Other than byrons i recommend sidewinder 30% or odonnells. Stick with a good quality brand like the ones i listed and a medium to cold plug with higher nitro content you will be fine.

Torco IS quality fuel. One good thing about Torco, they actually MAKE the nitro and alcohol fuels. Others have to buy it and just do the mixing.

Typically with the higher % of nitro the shorter lifespan of the mill due to the hotter temps and pickier/tighter tune window. Just a thought. I know it will produce more power for the now but I may still be running an additional 1, 2 more gallons of 20% vs your 30%. Just my .02

With higher nitro the engine will run a richer air/fuel raio then with lower nitro. This means that your tune will be more rich and with that comes cooler temps, it also makes starting and tuning easier so it's a win win imo.
