Fuel tubing

If you look you will see that they specifically say they are not designed for fuel.
Do yourself a favor and get GS clear fuel line. Buy it by the roll and you will have enough to last a long time and save some money as well.

Here is yet another product you don't want to compromise on. Why put yourself through the pain of fuel leaks and having the tubing come off while your running just to save a few bucks. I prefer clear so I can see the fuel and more importantly, air in the line.

wasn't sure bout that but thanks for saving me and others from another buyers mistake...now if I could just get some good servo/RX tape somewhere....HMMMM

thank you for the tip Mr. Eddy. Sorry if my questions get annoying just the being new thing.

there's no stupid questions
just stupid people.......
I mean Answers
Like the one I gave earlier

I was eager to find a new source for tubing. I use 1-2 50' rolls a season.
I change fuel lines more often then some people change their underoos.
Finding a new source for the proper tubing would be a good thing.

I don't care for the Venom fuel line. I tried some a few weeks ago and didn't like it. It liked to kink up and isnt as thick as the GS. GS has the best line for the best price so far.

I'm trying to find out who supplied the fuel tubing I got with my X-Ray Buggy. This stuff is awesome. Thick, flexible and durable as hell.

Yeah, ur right about the thickness..i have had good luck with it so far. Dynamite makes some good tubing..yet, expensive. If you find out what they dropped in the X-Ray..let us know.

I use the Gs Racing silicone fuel line. I get a deal on the 50 foot transparent light blue line. I have plenty to go.

Do not skimp on this ever as your tuning can go to hell in hand basket real fast.

thanks again. I needed a specific color for the shelf queen. Venom doesn't have it. But the tips are great for the daily driven cars. I didnt think about seeing bubbles in the fuel line

When it comes to fuel line I believe in function before beauty.
A lot of people claim they can see through colored line. I'm old and blind. The last thing I need to do is put on reading glasses while trying to start my RCs.
To each their own.

Lasik surgery is what you need Ed.

JK!

I am pretty close the car anyways. I have yet to find clear lines. I have only seen the transparent line like I mentioned by GS SIlicones.

My guess is that's what Ed's talking about. I don't go for colored lines either, too hard to see the fuel. On the pressure line it's ok, but not on the intake line, at least the piece from the filter to the carb.

I just use dubro line that my lhs carries in 3 foot sections. I should buy a full roll though, the little packs of line are around $3 for 3 feet...

DONT buy aquarium tube, i bought some (25 foot for £1.99) mainly because it was a nice light shade of blue, and for its cost. It fitted perfect until i ran my car for a short while, then after it had fuel sucked through it, it began to keep popping off, seems the fuel reacts with the tubing making it sort of like melt.
