Well my NTC3 showed up Thurday. As long as the weather stays decent this weekend I am going to be doing the breakin this Saturday. I just went the LHS and picked up a fresh gallon of 20% O'Donnell fuel. I have under a half a gallon of fuel from last summer but I left it on the floor in my room which is in the basement. (This was my first winter since I got into nitro and didn't know any better until now) It was on the carpet but there is no padding underneath the carpet so I am going to say the fuel is questionable. I also left fuel in the pit bottle. I am going to dump the fuel in the pit bottle but I am not sure how to go about cleaning it out so when I pour the fresh stuff in there that it won't mix before I start breaking the engine in. Should I be worried abou this?

myself, I would just put like a tablespoon or two of new fuel in the bottle, swish it around a bit and then squeeze it out.

I wouldn't be worried, but I've done the same thing when I've washed my pit bottle and gastank with water and soap.

Also, you don't have to toss the old fuel. I know of a guy that uses his old nitro to clean grease off parts. Nitro has oil in it, so you might want to follow up with nitro wash of denatured alcohol, but it would bust of the heavy grease and dirt with ease.

novice rob is on the right track. just take some new fuel and shake it up in the bottle, then dump it out. because nitrofuel is hydroscopic it will absorb any water molecules in the the bottle. Also dont through away the old fuel, i use a mix of 25% nitro fuel, and 75% denatured alchohol in a spray bottle as cleaner for my NTC3. it works better than the stuff u can buy from trinity!

Cool. Thanks for the reply guys. Now do any of you know the anti-rain dance? Weather.com is report cloudy and 67 degrees with a small chance of rain.
