Hey guys can anyone tell me why the fuel line is so long on the revo 3.3 ? And can i cut it and shorten it without any problems, possibly add a fuel filter would the filter reduce performance ? i just dont like how the stock fuel line raps around two loops into mounts then into the motor why so long ? thanks guys

Extra fuel line means more fuel is available between the fuel tank and the carb. When you end up upside down the tank will suck air. The extra fuel line allows for a longer time for you to flip the truck rubber side down before the engine uses the fuel in the line and dies.
You can shorten the line if you wish.
The stock revo fuel tank has a built in fuel filter, you can add a 2nd in line filter if you feel the need.

Ah well thank you very much perfect info I'm gunna leave it be. Since with my long travel its always flipping. although i put in the sway bar kit which helped ALOT. and i thought that was a fuel filter in the tank, i looked in there thats what i hought it was i still might shorten the line. Hey what about puttin a fuel filter on the exhaust line i read if you do that it will not allow backwash of fuel when it does flip. Have you heard of this ?

Why would you want to shorten the line? If you stay with the LT rockers your going to need all the line you can get, unless you just do circles directly in front of you. IMO, if it ant broke don't fix it, and if it breaks built it better.

No I'm not going to shorten the line. But can you explain, what you mean about my long travel? i took it to the track For the first time tonight. Yeah puttin progressive 2 rockers back on need to get rid of the slack on the travel also need to drop it down and throw in dish offset rims. And low profile sticky track nubb tires. Also i blew he throttle/brake servo tonight which of course is the most expensive. But my truck came with the new high torque, digital waterproof servos. I thought those where the best traxxas had. Obviously not. Maybe dirt got in the bearing which does not make sense since its supposed to be air tight. or fried the board . But if i pull on it while operating the servo it wil move as long as i keep goin back and forth, its a bit sluggish though and o9nce i stop moving it it wont move anymore till i force it again. I really dont wanna buy a new servo cause it is the biggest one so it aint cheap. Any recomndations on repairing the servo? or whats a reallly good brand of servos that would withstand torture. I guess i shouldnt of taken that spring for the brakes off, and used antenna tube so my brakes where sharp. but i think thats what caused this. so please et me know about what servo to buy that would be the strongest thanks again guys. Sorry about puncuation guys.

You're fine, that was easier to read lol.....no worries. Your servo probably burned out from the endpoints being set wrong.

Kyle Your servo or should say your new one should you decide to purchase a Traxxas will work fine, just take your time in getting it set correctly an you will be good to go racing, ya they have stronger ones out there but yours will do fine. I bought the brand (1) that goes on the Losi cars that suppose to have more torque but it is still in the spare bin. Never lost a stocker out of the five my grand kids keep me woorking on is reason I'm saying this. Good luck.

I've got Futuba S3305 servos one on steering and one on throttle brake and have no problems. Around $55 each or you can go with hitech HS-7955 at around $110 each. Both are good servos and the hitech is titanium geared where the Futuba is steel.

That's the HS prices. Much cheaper from eBay. Just posting worst case first is all.

i would go with the traxxas high torque servo that has metal gears had them on my 4-tec and they would take all the abuse, mud, grim that i could throw at them even survived a puddle misshap :)
