FS - R/C Battery Charger
What I have here is a Radio Shack 7.2V/9.6V Twin Charger. Here are the specifications -
Twin RC Charging Unit
(230-0440) Features Faxback Doc. # 63922
Your RadioShack Twin RC Charging Unit is perfect for charging remote
controlled racing car batteries. It can charge two 7.2 volt or 9.6 volt
Ni-Cd or Ni-MH battery packs one at a time. It only takes 3 hours to
charge a Ni-Cd battery (1000 mAh, 9.6V or 2000 mAh, 7.2V), and 4.5 hours
for a Ni-MH battery (1600 mAh, 9.6V or 3000 mAh, 7.2V). Its other
features include:
Charge Indicators - light when the battery packs are charging,
automatically turn off when the battery
packs finish charging, and flash if the
battery packs fail to charge, indicating a
problem with the battery (the battery is not
properly connected, or needs to be replaced,
for example).
Optional DC Operation - lets you charge batteries through a 12 VDC
cigarette-lighter plug socket with a 12 VDC
adapter (not supplied).
Automatic Charging Current - automatically detects the battery voltage
Selection and selects the appropriate charging
current.
Reverse Polarity Protection - protects the charger and batteries against
incorrectly installed batteries.
Short Circuit Protection - protects the charger and batteries against
shorted batteries.
Automatic Power-Off - turns off the charger to prevent over
charging.
Overcurrent Protection - controls the charging current.
Bought for $80, asking $50 OBO. It has been used 4 times. For $10 more I will throw in a ITZ Racing Track Pack 2100MAH battery.
Thanx for looking
