Hey everyone I was just wonering if any of you have had a problem with the front diff on the T-MAXX 4908 mine seems to be seeping a bit. It's not a huge leak or anything like that but it seep a little where the two halves of the diff come together. It's my understanding that these are supposed to be sealed. Anyway some input would be greatly appreciated.

never had that happen but is your diff ok check all the diff hardwear to see if tight but theres nothing inside the diff but grease so nothing should be coming out the LS could be coming apart inside the diff housing but good luck

Mine did that and it blew not to long after so I took the front drive out and I love it. It has a lot more power to the rear wheels you can drift easier its just all around funner. The only down side is you can't mud as easy you actually have to give it gas.

who wants a 2wd tmaxx this is what i would do i would go out and get a spool put it in the rear and take the rear diff and put it in the front diff hub if you want a 2 wd t maxx go out and get a s maxx but as fare as 2wding your t maxx they were never ment to be 2wd not setup for it not geared for it so not a good thing to do to your truck

I wouldn't take the front drive out of my truck I bought it specificaly becaues it is 4wd. If I wanted a 2wd I would've bought a buggy or truggy (puke)! I wouldn't have wasted my time or money on a 4wd just to turn it int a 2wd. That just doesn't make any sense. I will tear it down tonight and see if the screws are tight there isn't any binding and there isn't any unusual noise coming from it there is just little fluid seeping out of it.
