So just saw a vid testing the so-called drag brake. It has no drag brake at all.

Got some upgrades installed on one of the Max Smashers.

Furitek motor and esc

Also got the Treal driveshafts and FMS metal gears for the transmission.

The FMS metal transmission gears don’t work quite as expected though.. when the case is tightened up all the way the gears bind and the transmission won’t turn. So I had to loosen the screws a bit for it to work. I’ve got an email into FMS but I’ve read some comments YouTube that it’s a problem. Hence the Treal driveshafts, one of the stock ones broke before I realized it was binding so bad..

Truck looks bad ass. Wish it was 1/10 or 1/8 scale. I might cave in eventually. Does it feel 10 feet tall and bullet proof?

It’s such a cool truck!
I’ll get’er dialed in eventually but it’s kinda pissing me off atm.

I love monster trucks sooooo much! I just like looking at the damn things. The late 70’s Ford trucks being my absolute favorite of all time certainly helps too!

The brushless motor is so overkill it’s not even funny.. Needs wider tires with foams and a few other tweaks but it’s getting pretty close to acting like a smaller version of my Losi LMT. Which is one of my other favs!

I need to start a build thread for the one I’m going Banana’s with. Not sure what to call it yet?

And yea, it’s completely insane when you spend 2-3 times the value of the rig on upgrades…

Not gonna lie... I'm pretty jealous. Hopefully Treal or Furitek will come out with a transmission housing for it too.
