Purchasing some tonight and just need to know how you experienced guys feel about their combo or hybrids. Are the hybrids worth the additional cost or should I just go with the combo's? I'm also purchasing their extended chassis for my start-from-scratch build.

I would say it depends on your budget. I havent done the hybrid upgrade so I have no basis to give a opinion on. IMO I think that the hybrid would hold up better but your going to have to buy all ne internals for it, where as just the alluminum bulkheads you can just slip your diff right in. I would say that the hybrid should hold up better. I believe that lessen put the hybrid setup in his super maxx.

I do have a hybrid setup but my truck is still not finished. I can't really vouch for anything aside from the craftsmanship, which is top notch.

The hybrid use an 1/8 scale buggy diff so they will hold up to the abuse of a big block a lot better. I went the cheaper route with the standard bulks FLM and the FLM diff cups and so far they are all standing up to the Picco Maxx .26 pretty well. But if I'd had the money for the hybrids....heck yeah I would have gotten them.

I needed to get the order placed, so I just ordered the combos earlier this morning.
