Now that I'm in the 5th scale world I'm sure glad I never jumped the gun and bought the firehammer. It seems like there's no comparison between the baja and the firehammer. I was on a site that Google had directed me to and you could just see the flaws this thing had right out of the box. I do have one question though: whatever happens to it? During my time off from the hobby due to funds this thing was everywhere in 2007/2008. Fast forward to 2010 when I got back into it, and no one really talks about it or has one.

IMO its probably the UGLIEST Rc i have ever seen.....i dont think i would have bought one for that reason.

Yep, they're extremely homely looking, and they should stay there so no one else has to look at one. 
I think they just kind of died off quietly once the Baja debuted, and we had another easy to source 1/5 choice here in the US.
