Can someone tell me what the factory carb settings are for a T-Maxx 2.5.

Thanks Bobby

I have been doing quite a bit of research on the carb settings, and I found conflicting information, but I am leaning toward believing the Traxxas website / manual picture.

Here is a photo I found on here, regarding LSN settings:
Carb.webp

Note how the LSN is flush with the OUTER linkage ring.

NOW, what Traxxas says about the LSN:
low_spd_needle.webp

Note how the LSN is flush with the BODY.

My Maxx (I got it used) came with two carbs, and both were set very close to the bottom picture. When I set mine according to the top photo, the thing spits gas out the exhaust like nobody's business...

My instinct / gut feeling has always been to set it via the second photo, although I had no reason to believe so. Now I found that photo, and have a tingling feeling the top photo might be misleading?

Do any of the gurus here have opinions on this situation? :) Thanks!

:)I'm NO guru (as I've got the manual infront of me) and I do have a T-MAXX:D ,GO with the lower foto (AS ABOVE) thats the right one IF you have the TRX2.5 ingine. . .
the throttle arm (part#5243) can be moved or changed, so you set your L.S.N
flush with the inside as seen in the foto.
Hope this helps you.
Regards.

Thanks! Traxxas says that's a good base setting whether you have the 2.5 or the 3.3, as well! Food for thought haha :).
