ez start vs. pull start

I must have gotten a fudged up roto start on my rs4 because that wouldnt start the car no matte what............oh wait i got one tank ran through it with the roto start and thats because it didnt stall at all... I havent even ran it with the pull start because that car pissed me off so bad!!!!!! I think I am gonna run her for her secound tank finally I have only owned it since jan.... but like i said it coulda been a messed up roto start I dont know I didnt wanna buy a new one and find out it just isnt for me... I was online a while ago and did find another rc company that had a e-z start style starter I just can't find the damn thing does anyone know what I am refering to????
 
Your having a problem with the starter wand or the actual starter backplate part? I had a ofna starter wand and the switch broke on me a week after having, so went back to my lhs and he gave me an actual hpi one. Its been fine for the past few months now.

it was an hpi product and it was the wand thing for the roto start it was getting really warm and when i took the battery out there would be a small amount of smoke in the batt. chamber.
